Adventureland (2009)

Kristen Stewart fans: you will love her in this. Classic Stewart with all of her adorable quirks and mannerisms. Jesse Eisenberg is great, as well: nothing at all false about his character, or any in the characters, for that manner! The soundtrack is remarkable: Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, The Cure... Terrific! Extremely advocate. My husband and I have watched it most likely 100 occasions!!

[500] Days Of Summer - Music From The Motion Picture

Good sound track for an incredible movie. The scene inside the movie when Tom has his initially romantic time is priceless. It's a song by Hall & Oats. See it on youtube under 500days of summer. So I play that song over and over....it's an awesome CD.Buy it!
If you haven't seen this film it's a MUST! Joseph Gordon Levitt from 3rd Rock
and Zoey (Elf's(Will Ferrill's) girlfriend!

Adventureland

I just came dwelling from watching this movie and I immediately went to Amazon to get the album. Whoever picked the music should have been a child from the 80's like me. All the songs in the movie fit perfectly. In just about every situation, there was a mix of amazing classic 80's dance, pop and rock songs. If you loved Adventureland, ensure to choose up this album.

Adventureland Soundtrack:Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist

The movie "Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist" is a decent (if not necessarily good) film following the romantic travails of two meant-to-be-would-be lovers in Manhattan over the course of one night looking for an elusive band. It's okay, but a run-of-the-mill rom-com with barely anything beyond the leads to recommend it. What makes the movie worth watching (and what makes this CD worth owning) is the music.

Adventureland Soundtrack:Whip It!

Whip It is the kind of movie that you wish would not end. The excitement it generates is electric, whether its set in the lead character Bliss's everyday life or her secret life as a roller derby queen. These punk songs by groups I never heard before are amazing! Garage rock is back! I am so grateful to director Drew Barrymore for putting these all in one package! When I hear the songs, every time I am transported back to that roller derby in the warehouse and this scene is a far cry from anything I have ever seen before. My personal experience with roller skates is much more innocent, early eighties roller rinks moving to disco tunes like "Freak Out" or "Funkytown." These songs for the most part are current and bring a fresh outlook for rock with a hope that punk can still survive in the world of hip-hop and teen pop.

Adventureland Soundtrack:Don't You Know Who I Think I Was?

Few bands can lay claim to being at the forefront of America's punk rock movement. Even fewer can say that they mattered. The Replacements - along with a short list that would include Ramones, Black Flag, Husker Du and The New York Dolls - are one such band. This 2006 best of starts in 1979, when Paul Westerberg joined brothers Bob (guitar) and Tommy Stinson (bass) and drummer Chris Mars and became one of Minneapolis earliest hard core bands.
